Clinical and Educational Supervision
A2Z College Planning offers clinical supervision to LPCA professionals who have attained a Master’s or PhD Degree and hold a restricted License, required by the NCBLPC to be under the supervision of an approved supervisor.
Clinical supervision is an investment in your career. It is important that you select a supervisor that will help you grow as a professional while providing sound guidance and direction. The classroom provided the education, your practicum site exposed you to reality and clinical supervision will serve as your professional guide and preparatory step to becoming fully licensed
Supervision consists of discussing specific questions about individual cases, application of various theoretical perspectives, and utilization of interventions from an array of treatment modalities. Examples of therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, existential therapy, Gestalt therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness practice, strategic family therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy
